i watched it on fashion nation and boy, this is what i call advanced technology. this company is called FRONT, a Swedish design group and these are their masterpieces - Sketch Furniture.
Pen strokes made in the air are recorded with Motion Capture and become 3D digital files; these are then materialised through Rapid Prototyping into real pieces of furniture. Motion Capture translates motions into 3D-files. Rapid Prototyping is a technique that materialises 3D-files. A laser beam builds the 3D-file layer by layer within a liquid plastic material. so basically, just imagine waving your magic pen in the air and drawing your dream furniture pieces and having them formed into reality. whoo. double whoo hoo.
i'm still watching love or bread. it's a taiwanese drama if you're wondering.... i kinda like that defy-gravity bun, tied at the top of the head and is voluptuous looking from all angles. umm...
you can never (maybe not never) achieve this in SIngapore. people aren't spontaneous and many people would gather to watch, some would go "siao ah" or "so lame". trust me. but well, seeing this makes me happy. it's like an impromptu musical. um... i would love to join in.
my room is always undergo-ing some kind of transformation. maybe not this time but, i'm always thinking of revamping my room, giving it a fresh touch, giving it a new look, a more "me" room, a sweet florals and fauna room or a chic hotel setting room....... maybe, my room needs to just be tidied and stays this way.
my mum says all i know is eat and sleep hinting me that i'm fat or lazy or... that i'm like that of a pig? umm..... i shall pig in now then :D
